I started thinking after doing the Oppo Review of my car and I just love my sequential taillights! It's such a small thing, but truly makes me love my car just that much more.
So I ask oppo, what is something small that you just absolutely love about your rides?

All the V6s that Chrysler made in this time period develop engine sludge. Not the Mercedes made V6 in my Crossfire. My car is really a Karmann rather than a Chrysler though.

it makes popping and crackling noises. It just begs to go faster all the time.

Inflatable Lumbar support. (Mainly because it has no other toys)
My truck is a 95 with "Bucket" seats, but realistically they're just single person "Bench" seats. That little air bladder makes a huge difference on long drives.

The sound the fart cannon makes under tunnels or when it's in 2nd gear coming down from 3-4k rpm to idle. Especially in between buildings. It's the Brapppening and it's awesome.

The QUATTRO badge on the wood trim above the glovebox catches the sun and directs it painfully straight into my eyes.... I like that.

on my 68 its having the ignition on the dash(last year Chevy did this as well), I love it up their compared to having it on the column like almost every newer car.

I love a flaw in my MR2 Spyder. I got the car at 115K miles and it's at 130K now and the biggest problem I've had with it (besides the clutch going out) is with the sun visor.
The left inside screw on the passenger sun visor unscrews itself every couple hundred miles. The other sun visor screws get loose, but the left passenger one gets REALLY loose (it's fallen out a couple of times), and I have to keep a little screwdriver in the passenger glove box. I've tightened it between stoplights several times. It's so random and so specific I can't help but love it, I can't think of a more minor problem to have. For some reason, it's really endearing and I smile like an idiot every time I tighten it. (none of these pictures are my own)

I Love that it takes about 5 min to change pads on the Evo. Punch out two pins, grab the spring, pull the pads out, retract the piston, new pads in and reverse remaining steps. Easy.
Also, the oil filter is in a sane spot.

wow that's awesome actually. Something was actually designed well!

Is it bad that I've been sat for a good 10 minutes thinking about this, before realising that not one of my cars has any cool little features or gizmo-nuggets that I absolutely love? :(

I've found a handful of little things I love about it, but I'd say the top two are the little turbo blowoff noise when you get off the throttle between 2500 and 5000 RPM and the glowing red gauge sweep at startup (and, by extension, the way the gauges glow red for a couple seconds when you turn the car off).

It is, it's like having a convertible, but without the leaks and sunburn!

wife's 13 explorer has a little "clip" integrated into the sun-visor for tool cards, parking lot slips, etc.

oh I want to add to mine that I can change the oil without lifting the car...

I've thought of that, but then I can't really unscrew it. Also, It's kinda fun to do. I usually check my tire pressures and my oil when I need to screw it in again.

The Series 3 has toggle switches instead of little plastic buttons...
Its only taken half an hour, but at least I thought of something.

Hmmm.... I literally can't think of any on my Safari.
The Fusion I like the instant MPG gauge that I can watch go from 40 to like 5 when I floor it.
The Silverado I like all the stupid little things the stereo does. It even scans stations for a certain genre.

Heated seats.
Tinted rear windows.
Rear turn signal lamps are properly amber, not red.
The rear seats can fold flat.
The sunroof only rarely leaks.
It almost always starts the first try.
The speakers I installed are loud enough to cover the odd noises that it makes.
It's devoid of bumper stickers.
It's paid off.

Loctite green should be able to handle it. Don't use red if you are worried.

The electric folding mirrors on my F350. So awesome to hit a switch and keep my (gigantic) mirrors safe when parking.

With the rear seats folded down, the parcel shelf was designed to fit perfectly over the transmission hump and headrests. I have to take a picture someday, but trust me, it's so neat.

I guess it's not super minor, but I love the fact that I can pull almost any part off of any year Ranger and with little work make it work on my own. The joys of a never-updated truck.

There is so many to choose from. (It's a Saab, thats their brand identity.) I'd have to say the speedo which the distance between the numbers gets smaller the faster you go. Like this:

The start-up procedure for my Cutlass makes every journey an event.
1: use round key to unlock door
2: insert square key into ignition
3: turn to on position
4: slowly pump the gas (once if it's moderately warm, twice if it's chilly, thrice if it's ass-freezing)
5: crank the motor til it starts
6: allow the car to warm up a bit
7: depress and release the pedal to disengage the choke.
